In the top of the first inning, things started with promise as Xavier Edwards singled to right field and advanced to second on a wild pitch. Although he reached third after Jesus Sánchez grounded out, Eric Wagaman and Agustin Ramirez couldn't capitalize, both striking out to end the inning. Our pitchers kept the White Sox at bay after they took a 1-0 lead with a homer by Andrew Vaughn.Wagaman & Stowers Ignite the Comeback! 
The turning point arrived in the 7th inning when Kyle Stowers launched a stunning homer to right center, tying the game 1-1. The momentum was now shifting! In the 8th inning, Matt Mervis and Nick Fortes showed determination by reaching base, setting the stage for Wagaman.
