Tough Loss for the Tigers in a Pitching Duel

Tigers' Offense Just Couldn't Break Through
Our boys did try to fight back though. Matt Vierling and Spencer Torkelson both singled, showing some spark, but we just couldn’t capitalize on these moments. Javier Báez and Carson Kelly also singled in the 9th, getting as close as we could get to scoring, with runners in the corners. However, the Marlins' pitching proved too tough today, shutting us out with some key strikeouts and groundouts.
Solid Pitching But Not Enough
The pitching on our side was quite solid, especially after the rocky start. The Marlins only managed those two early runs, and afterwards, our pitchers held them at bay. We saw some good innings, including a few where Marlins hitters were set down in order. It was unfortunate that our hitters couldn’t rally to support these efforts.Looking Ahead
