Tough Loss at Minute Maid Park 
Hey fellow Marlins fans, it was a nail-biter in Houston last night as we fell just short against the Astros. Although we started strong, we couldn’t hold onto the lead. Let's dive into what happened inning by inning.Early Lead with a Bang 
The game started on a high note with Jazz Chisholm Jr. homering to right, giving us a quick 1-0 lead in the top of the 1st inning. But we missed some scoring opportunities and couldn't capitalize further.Astros Answer Back 
In the bottom of the 2nd, the Astros tied it up thanks to Chas McCormick's single which brought Jake Meyers home. Jose Altuve's double got him to third, but thankfully, he got stranded.Struggles at the Plate 
Both teams struggled to make anything of their at-bats over the next few innings. Jesus Sanchez struck out swinging in the 4th and Nick Gordon followed suit in the 5th. We had three straight scoreless innings.J Sanchez to the Rescue! 
Jesus Sanchez brought us back into the game in the 7th inning with a homer to left-center, evening the score at 2-2. An absolute bomb! But our momentum was short-lived as the Astros came back swinging.Costly Errors and Clutch Homers 
Alex Bregman homered in the bottom of the 7th, bringing McCormick home after he reached on an error. That put the Astros up 4-2. Despite a strong outing from A.J. Puk, the damage was done.Late Rally Comes Up Short
In the 8th inning, Bryan De La Cruz singled to left, bringing in Chisholm Jr.. But despite getting one run closer, we couldn't get over the hump. The 9th inning saw Dane Myers striking out and despite Jake Burger walking, Emmanuel Rivera struck out swinging to end our hopes.Final Thoughts 
It was a hard-fought game, but the Astros got the better of us this time. We saw some great moments from Jazz Chisholm Jr. and Jesus Sanchez, but we couldn't maintain the lead. Chin up, Marlins fans, we'll get them next time! Fish Family forever!
