Tough Night in Los Angeles

Fellow Marlins fans, last night was a rollercoaster at the Dodger Stadium, but unfortunately, we came up short against a strong Dodgers lineup. Despite our best efforts, the night ended with a 12-7 loss. From the first inning, we knew we were in for a challenging game as the Dodgers' hitters brought their A-game, but our Marlins never backed down without a fight.

Dodgers Draw First Blood

The game started off with both teams scoreless in the first inning. It wasn't until the bottom of the second when Max Muncy homered to center, giving the Dodgers an early 1-0 lead. The third inning saw the Dodgers get more aggressive with Mookie Betts delivering a two-RBI single, and Andy Pages adding another run with his single, increasing their lead to 4-0.

Marlins Rally

Our Marlins fought back! 💪 In the fourth inning, Kyle Stowers came through with a powerful two-run homer that brought Eric Wagaman home, reducing the deficit to 4-2. We kept the pressure on in the sixth inning when Stowers doubled, sending Agustin Ramirez home. However, despite getting closer with the score at 4-3, the Dodgers responded in a big way in the bottom of the sixth with a series of hits, capped off by another homer from Freddie Freeman, extending their lead to 8-3.

Final Attempts

In the ninth inning, our Marlins displayed their resilience. Let's give a big shout-out to Liam Hicks! 👏 His clutch double brought in three runs, narrowing the gap to 12-7. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to turn the tide. Despite the loss, it was great to see our boys give it their all until the final out. 🌟

We'll come back stronger, Marlins fans. Keep rallying behind the team! Next stop, another showdown! 🐟⚾
