Marlins Jump to Early Lead
The Miami Marlins came out swinging in the top of the 1st inning. Jazz Chisholm Jr. set the tone with a walk, which was quickly followed by a massive 393-foot home run by Bryan De La Cruz, scoring both himself and Chisholm Jr. Not to be outdone, Jake Burger added another run with a solo homer, putting the Marlins up 3-0.Adding More in the 2nd Inning
Our boys didn't stop there. In the top of the 2nd, a series of defensive errors by the Brewers allowed Nick Fortes and Chisholm Jr. to cross the plate, extending our lead to 5-0. The Brewers struggled defensively, and we capitalized!Brewers Get on the Board
The bottom of the 3rd saw the Brewers’ Rhys Hoskins hitting a solo home run. Then Sal Frelick doubled, but an attempt to steal by Jackson Chourio was quickly shut down by our infield. The inning ended with the Marlins still comfortably ahead 5-1.Brewers Score Again
The Brewers chipped away again in the 4th inning with a sac fly by Gary Sánchez, bringing William Contreras home. But that was all they could muster. Our lead held strong at 5-2.Strong Defensive Performance
