What a night for our Phillies! We secured a colossal 11-1 victory against the Miami Marlins, sending our fans into absolute euphoria!
The bats were blazing, with Kyle Schwarber, Edmundo Sosa, Bryson Stott, and Alec Bohm leading the charge with some serious power hitting. The Game Begins
The game started quietly, as both teams were knotted at 0 through the first inning. Kyle Schwarber gave us a hint of what was to come when he hit a double in the bottom of the first. However, a parade of strikeouts meant we couldn't cash in just yet.Power Up!
The top of the third was electric! Kyle Schwarber belted a massive 408-foot homer to get us on the board and tie the game at 1-1. From there, it was clear our Phillies weren't done. The fourth inning saw Edmundo Sosa and Bryson Stott each crush homers to center, moving us ahead 3-1. Sosa's second homer in the fifth added more cushion.Seventh Heaven
