Dominating Defense and Stellar Plays by the Pirates
What a game, Pirates fans! Our Buccos came out on top with a fantastic 5-2 victory over the Miami Marlins. It was a night where both defense and key moments of offensive brilliance aligned perfectly for the win. We started with an amazing display of defense in the first inning, preventing the Marlins from gaining any momentum early on.

Shout out to Oneil Cruz for starting us strong with a sneaky single to center in the bottom of the 1st and then stealing second base. Although the inning didn't lead to runs, it set the tone for an aggressive approach.
Key Plays by the Pirates
Henry Davis brought some luck in the 2nd inning by scoring on a throwing error while Ke'Bryan Hayes smartly advanced for an extra base, giving us our first lead of the game. Later, in the 5th inning, Andrew McCutchen truly delivered a jaw-dropping moment for the fans.

When the Marlins fought back with a homer from their guy, Heriberto Hernández, we stayed composed.
Closing the Game with Precision
By the 8th inning, Bryan Reynolds walked his way onto the bases and then stroked all the way home thanks to Adam Frazier's crucial sacrifice fly, securing another important run for us.
Our bullpen was outstanding with Ashcraft, Santana, Ferguson, and finally Bednar, who closed the game like a pro in the 9th. His strikeouts sealed the deal, allowing no room for a Marlins comeback. Fantastic teamwork all around!

Another well-deserved victory for our Pirates. Let's keep the momentum going as the season progresses. Bucco Nation, this one's for you!
