Dominant Pitching Seals the Deal

Hey Bucs fans! 🎉 What a game today at PNC Park. The Pirates showcased their talent with a 3-1 victory over the Marlins, and an incredible display of pitching made it even more special.

First Inning Fireworks

The game started off strong as Isiah Kiner-Falefa got us going with solid defense. After a quiet top of the first, the bottom of the inning brought the action. Bryan Reynolds got us going with a double, followed by Joey Bart's hit-by-pitch. Nick Gonzales kept the momentum with an infield single, loading the bases. Oneil Cruz walked, bringing Reynolds home for the first run! Connor Joe then hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Bart. Pirates up 2-0! 🙌

Triolo's Blazing Bat

In the bottom of the 2nd, Jared Triolo launched a solo homer to left field, extending our lead to 3-0! 🌟

Shutdown Pitching Performance

Our pitchers were lights-out today. The Marlins couldn't touch our starters, who kept them scoreless through six.

Defensive Brilliance

Big shoutout to the defense, too! After Kyle Stowers walked in the 3rd, Javier Sanoja grounded into a double play. In the 7th, Lopez walked but got thrown out at third after Jonah Bride hit one to left. 💪

Closing the Game

The Marlins made a last-ditch effort in the 9th. After Otto Lopez doubled and Jake Burger reached on an error, Jesus Sanchez struck out. Cristian Pache singled, scoring Lopez. No worries, though! Beeks came in and sealed the deal for us. What a game!

Overall, a fantastic win for our Buccos. Let’s keep the momentum going! Let's go Bucs! ⚾🖤💛
