Alright, Mariners fans, let's dive into the gritty encounter against the Miami Marlins that took place last night. We started off with a promising show of defense in the first few innings, successfully dealing with the threats from their line-up, keeping our hopes high with a 0-0 start to the game. Kudos to our pitching and fielding crew for the solid beginning.
A Glimmer of Hope
Our spirits soared as Dylan Moore launched a soaring homer to left field in the second inning, putting us on the board with a 1-0 lead.
However, the Marlins answered back in the 5th inning, with a series of tightly executed plays and a massive homer by their J. Sánchez which turned the tables to 6-1 in favor of Miami.
