Game Recap: Cardinals Triumph with a 7-4 Win!
Cheer up, Cardinals Nation! First Inning Frenzy
In the bottom of the 1st inning, the excitement kicked off with Victor Scott II who made an impressive single to the right. It didn’t take long for Masyn Winn and Alec Burleson to fuel the energy, with Burleson's fantastic double that brought both Scott II and Winn home to score. Thomas Saggese joined the party, driving in Nolan Gorman to give us a very comfortable early lead of 4-0. Marlins Strike Back but Cards Hold Firm
The Marlins tried to claw back in the 4th inning, with a noteworthy solo homer by Griffin Conine and consecutive scores reducing our lead to 5-4. However, the Cardinals' defense held strong, and pitcher Picone, who relieved Molina, stopped the Marlins from doing further damage. Sealing the Deal
In the 6th inning, Thomas Saggese showed off his power again with a stunning solo homer to left field to stretch our lead to 6-4. Another nail in the Marlins’ coffin came from José Suarez in the 8th inning with an incredible double that eventually translated into a run from Ryan Mitchell’s sacrifice fly. Our bullpen made sure there was no comeback, shutting out Miami in the final innings to clinch this deserved 7-4 win!Wrapping Up
What a game, folks! The Cardinals showed resilience and class, fueled by sheer determination. Our guys stayed dominant right from the start and never let the Marlins fully bounce back.
