Early Hope! 
The game started on a high note for us, with Xavier Edwards getting a single immediately. After he stole second base, Emmanuel Rivera came in clutch with a booming 372-foot homer to left! This put us up 2-0 at the beginning of the game. How great did that feel?! 
Maintaining the Lead 
Our defense was sharp in the first few innings, keeping the Rays scoreless. Edward Cabrera was pitching fantastic, and our fielders were rock solid. Nick Fortes even doubled in the 2nd inning, but unfortunately, we couldn’t extend the lead. Still, we were up 2-0 and hope was high!Challenging Middle Innings 
The 4th inning saw Christopher Morel hit a solo homer, cutting our lead to 2-1. However, Jake Burger answered back with a massive 408-foot solo shot in the 5th to make it 3-1. At that point, it looked like we were going to hold on. Unfortunately, things started to unravel. A crazy 6th inning for the Rays saw them score 5 runs! Yandy Díaz capped it off with a 2-RBI single. This pushed the Rays ahead 6-3. 
Late-Game Struggles 
The Rays kept the pressure on, adding another run in the 7th and extending their lead to 9-3 by the 8th. Despite Nick Fortes leading the 7th with a double, we just couldn’t capitalize on scoring opportunities. The game slipped away from us as we couldn't counter the Rays' offensive surge.Final Inning Frustrations 
Despite a single from Xavier Edwards and a wild pitch that advanced him to second, we couldn't get back in the game— Jake Burger and Emmanuel Rivera both made outs to end our hopes, falling to a final score of 9-3.
Tough loss tonight, folks, but we saw flashes of brilliance. Let’s regroup and come back stronger!
