Tough Day for the Marlins Against Nationals
Well, Marlins fans, it was a challenging day at the park with the Nationals taking the win 5-2.
Marlins Come Up Short Despite a Promising Start
Early in the game, both teams struggled to find traction, with the first inning going scoreless. But things heated up in the second when James Wood advanced for the Nationals, and Andres Chaparro helped his team find a groove. Our boys showed some resistance in the top of the second, with Otto Lopez and Connor Norby on base, but a double play shattered our chance to score
Norby's Clutch Moment & Wood's Decisive Homer
One of the highlights for our Marlins was in the fourth inning when Connor Norby delivered an RBI single, driving in two runs to bring the score to 3-2. But just when it seemed like momentum was shifting towards the Marlins, James Wood hit a decisive home run that extended the Nationals' lead to 5-2

Although luck wasn't on our side this time, there were glimpses of promise throughout the game—especially with Connor Norby showing potential and Otto Lopez consistently getting on base. Let's keep supporting our team and look forward to the next matchup. Here's hoping the Marlins can bounce back stronger!
