Initial Spark 
Hey Brew Crew fans! Although today's game ended up being a heartbreaker, it started off with a bang! Brice Turang got us going with a single to right field, and William Contreras followed up with a monstrous homer to left-center, bringing Turang home and giving us an early 2-0 lead in the 1st inning. It was a fantastic start that had us feeling optimistic. 
Struggles and Stalemates
Our pitching held the line well through the next few innings, with only a wild pitch in the 5th allowing the Diamondbacks to get on the board. Unfortunately, our offense couldn't break through their defense, as Christian Yelich, Sal Frelick, and Rhys Hoskins were held hitless in their subsequent at-bats. Despite several runners reaching base, including walks and stolen bases, we just couldn't convert them into runs. The Diamondbacks tied it up 2-2 in the 6th inning. It was a tense stalemate for us, hanging on to the early lead. 
A Tough Ending 
The Diamondbacks' late-game rally was tough to stomach. In the 7th inning, a single from Naylor put the D-backs ahead, followed by an insurance two-run single from Thomas in the 8th, which really put the game out of reach. We had the bases occupied in the 9th inning but couldn’t capitalize. A series of strikeouts dashed our hopes of a comeback. The final score was 5-2 in favor of the Diamondbacks. It was a tough loss, but we'll lift our heads and come back fighting next game! Let's keep supporting the Brewers!
