An Uphill Battle from the Get-Go
As Braves fans, today's game against the Brewers was a tough pill to swallow
Brewers Keep Adding On
The Brewers came out swinging in the second and third innings, adding 3 more runs in the second and another 2 in the third. By the middle of the third inning, we were already down 8-0. Our starting pitcher just didn’t have it today, and we had to turn to the bullpen early.A Glimmer of Hope
Finally, in the bottom of the third inning, we showed some signs of life
Middle Innings and Brewers’ Dominance
The Brewers didn’t let off the gas, though. They added another 5 runs in the 5th inning and kept our relievers busy. Despite Marcell Ozuna hitting a solo homer in the 7th, the Brewers were relentless.A Tough End to the Game
In the 8th inning, we managed to score 3 more runs thanks to clutch hits from Whit Merrifield and Eli White. But the Brewers responded in the 9th inning and made it 16-7 by the time the dust settled. The last gasp attempts at the bottom of the 9th didn’t yield any more runs for us.Final Thoughts
While it’s never easy to watch the home team have a rough outing, let’s not get too down. There's plenty of baseball left in the season, and we know our Braves can bounce back. Austin Riley and Marcell Ozuna both had good games, showing their power at the plate. Let’s regroup and look forward to our next game!

Final Score: Brewers 16, Braves 7
