Tough Loss but Moments to Cherish
Hey, Brew Crew fans! So, tonight wasn't exactly what we hoped for as our Brewers faced off against the Cubs and fell short with a final score of 5-3. Although we were on the losing side, there were some cheers and highlights we'll want to remember! We started strong in the 2nd inning with an exciting homer from Isaac Collins that brought Rhys Hoskins home. What a shot by Collins!
Bouncing Back in the Late Innings
By the 5th inning, the Cubs surged ahead with Seiya Suzuki's three-run homer—ouch. But, our Brewers didn’t back down. In the 6th inning, Brice Turang showcased some great base running by stealing second, and Joey Ortiz stepped up with a critical RBI single to bring Turang home. Things were getting exciting with a 4-3 scoreline!
Final Push and Next Steps
Unfortunately, the Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong scored another run in the 8th, and despite Jackson Chourio's brave attempt with a double in the 9th, our rally came up just a tad short. Still, we’ve seen some fantastic hustle and dedication from our guys. Keep your heads up, Brewers fans! Let's regroup and cheer on our team for the next game.
