A Promising Start Turns Sour
Hey White Sox fans! What a rollercoaster of a game we witnessed today. Our beloved Andrew Benintendi and Luis Robert Jr. got us off to a fantastic start in the first inning with back-to-back solo homers. Benintendi fired one 366 feet into right field, and then Robert Jr. sent one soaring 415 feet to center.
The Sixth Inning Struggles
Our excitement, however, was short-lived. The Brewers made their move in the sixth inning. Despite Brian Wilson's best efforts, the Brewers capitalized on a couple of walks and hits, scoring four runs in the inning. A stubborn effort by Eisert wasn't enough to stop their momentum, and suddenly, we found ourselves behind 5-2. It was a painful half-inning to watch as the Brewers took control. A Disappointing Finish
The top of the eighth served as the final nail in the coffin when the Brewers added two more runs. Our bats, unfortunately, went quiet for too long. Brooks Baldwin and Lenyn Sosa both had their struggles at the plate, and despite a few hits by Andrew Vaughn and Miguel Vargas, we couldn't close the gap. The game wrapped up with a 7-2 loss, leaving us with disappointment as the Brewers took the day.Let's keep our heads up, support our team, and hope the next outing brings us the victory we deserve! Go White Sox!
