Promising Start, Disappointing Finish

Fellow Brewers fans, tonight's game against the Cincinnati Reds was a rollercoaster of emotions. 🎢 We started off strong in the top of the first with Brice Turang doubling to right, setting the stage for Christian Yelich to bring him home with a smooth single to left. We led 1-0 early and spirits were high! 🙌

Frelick's Fireworks!

Our boy Sal Frelick gave us a boost in the top of the fourth with a solo homer to right field, extending our lead to 2-0. Talk about sending that ball flying! 💥⚾️ As Frelick jogged around the bases, it felt like we were on our way to a solid win. But then, the game took a challenging turn.

A Hard-Fought Battle

The Reds came roaring back in the bottom of the fourth. A two-run homer by Tyler Stephenson tied the game, and despite a well-fought battle, we couldn't regain the lead. The Reds managed to slip by, sneaking in two more runs by the end of the eighth inning. Will Benson dealt the final blow with a homer that secured the Reds' 4-2 victory.

Onto the Next

Brewers fans, it's not the result we hoped for, but the season is far from over. We've seen great efforts from our roster, especially Frelick's thrilling homer! While tonight didn't end in our favor, let's keep cheering on our boys as we head into the next game. Go Brewers! 💙⚾
