Rockies Struggle Against Brewers

Hey Rockies fans 😢, it wasn't our day today as the Colorado Rockies took on the Milwaukee Brewers at home. Despite a strong start, we couldn't keep up with the Brewers' offense. The game started off as a pitching duel with both teams scoreless by the end of the 2nd inning.

Doyle's Dinger Delights

In the bottom of the 3rd inning, Brenton Doyle gave us a reason to cheer. After getting behind early in the game, Doyle crushed a solo home run to left field, cutting the deficit to 4-1. It was a moment that got Coors Field buzzing with excitement—it's always great to see Doyle showcasing his power! 💪🏼⚾

Brewers Break Away

But alas, the Brewers came roaring back. The 7th inning turned into a nightmare for us 😬, starting off with a solo homer from Brice Turang, and bombers from Christian Yelich and William Contreras, extending their lead to 7-1. The Rockies bullpen had a tough stretch, unable to contain the Brewers' relentless lineup.

Missed Opportunities

Rockies had chances but just couldn't capitalize. Ezequiel Tovar and Ryan McMahon gave us hope by getting on base, but the bats struggled. The strikeouts piled on, leaving us scratching our heads. The Brewers' pitching really had our number today. 🤔

Final Thoughts

Ending with a 7-1 score felt rough, but there's always tomorrow. There were glimmers of potential, especially with Doyle's big hit. Let’s shake it off and look forward to getting back in the win column soon! Remember, Rockies Nation, every game is a new opportunity. Go Rockies! 🌟
