A Tough Loss for the Halos: Brewers 6, Angels 3

Hey Angels fans, 😢 tough day at Angel Stadium as the Halos dropped their game to the Milwaukee Brewers, 6-3. Here's how it all went down:

Brewers Set the Tone Early

The game started off with a bang for the Brewers, as Christian Yelich launched a 403-feet homer in the top of the 1st inning. Our boys went down 1-2-3 in the bottom half, setting a shaky tone early. We had some mishaps, like a wild pitch by Canning that allowed Sal Frelick to score, making it 2-0 by the end of the 2nd inning.

Middle Innings: Brewers Take Control

Things didn't get much better in the 4th inning, where a combination of hits and errors allowed the Brewers to extend their lead to 5-0. Despite attempts to fight back, including a single by Zach Neto, we just couldn't seem to get the runs across. In the 6th, Rhys Hoskins scored on a sacrifice fly by Jackson Chourio, pushing the deficit to 6-0.

A Late but Valiant Effort

The 9th inning showed a glimmer of hope. Logan O'Hoppe doubled to lead off and later scored on a wild pitch. Back-to-back singles from Nolan Schanuel and Luis Rengifo narrowed the gap. Schanuel eventually scored, making it 3-6, but it wasn't enough to mount a full comeback.

Despite the late rally, the game concluded with a 6-3 loss. We had some good moments, like Schanuel going 3-for-4, and Neto and Moniak putting the ball in play to drive in runs. Keep your heads up, Angels fans! We'll get 'em next time! 👊⚾

Feel free to share your thoughts and let's keep supporting our boys! 🧢🔴
