A Tough Day for the Halos 
Hey fellow Angels fans, we’ve had better days at the ballpark, but today wasn’t one. The Brewers took us down 2-0, and despite our best efforts, we just couldn't make any headway against their pitchers.Struggles at the Plate 
It was a quiet day offensively. Our boys just couldn’t get the bats going. Nolan Schanuel grounded out twice, struck out once, and popped out to third. Luis Rengifo did manage to reach first on an infield single and got to second on a balk, but unfortunately also flied out and lined out. Taylor Ward was our only bright spot with a single to right, but even he struck out swinging once and couldn’t get anything going in his other appearances.Pitcher's Duel 
This was more a duel of pitchers than anything else. Our pitchers kept it tight, but the Brewers capitalized on just enough opportunities. Michael Stefanic stepped in for Luis Guillorme, but despite getting a hit, we couldn’t turn it into runs.Highlights and Misses 
One of the most exciting – albeit nerve-wracking – moments was Kevin Pillar's steal to second! Sadly, it didn't translate into a run, and his teammates struck out around him. Logan O'Hoppe tried to be the spark we needed – but three strikeouts in crucial moments put a damper on our chances. Both Matt Thaiss and Zach Neto gave their all but also faced difficulties at the plate against the Brewers’ tough pitchers.
Defensive Bright Spots 
On the bright side, our defense held strong at various points. Pillar and Adell made some great plays in the outfield, and Neto showed his worth with a well-turned double play in the top of the 9th.Final Thoughts 
It's never fun to come out on the losing side, especially in a game where our boys showed a lot of grit. We had a few flashes of brilliance, but consistency was missing. Let’s rally behind our team and hope for better in the next game! Keep the faith, Angels fans!
