Early Momentum
The Brewers started off strong in the top of the 1st inning. With Joey Ortiz drawing a walk and William Contreras reaching on an infield single, the team had runners on base right away. A well-played sacrifice fly by Rhys Hoskins brought home Ortiz to give us an early 1-0 lead. The Angels were unable to respond in their half of the inning.Pitching Dominance
Brewers pitching was spectacular throughout the game! Starting pitcher Freddy Peralta was on fire, allowing just a few base runners and racking up strikeouts. He handled key situations well, especially in the bottom of the 2nd when he struck out Logan O'Hoppe, Matt Thaiss, and Zach Neto in succession!
Consistent Defense
Brewers' defense was impeccable, especially in the third when Jackson Chourio caught a tricky fly ball to get Mickey Moniak out. Our fielders, including Brice Turang and Sal Frelick, kept the Angels from gaining any momentum.Extending the Lead

), Willy Adames singled to left, bringing Yelich home and doubling our lead to 2-0. A single by Rhys Hoskins added even more pressure on the Angels, but they managed to escape without further damage.Closing It Out
Relievers Trevor Megill and Javy Guerra sealed the deal in the 9th inning. Despite the Angels' attempts, they couldn't get anything going against our lights-out pitching. Pillar, O'Hoppe, and Thaiss were all retired swiftly to secure the win.Final Thoughts
