Tough Day at the Plate for the Dodgers
Well, Dodgers fans, it was certainly a tough one to watch tonight at Dodger Stadium.
Standout Plays from the Brewers
While we were held scoreless throughout the game, hats off to the Brewers for their execution. The decisive blows came in the 5th and 7th innings. Isaac Collins walked and later scored on a double from Caleb Durbin, giving the Brewers their first run of the night. Later, Durbin went deep with a solo homer to center in the 7th inning, giving Milwaukee the two-run lead that proved insurmountable. Gotta hand it to them; that homer traveled 410 feet!
Some Bright Spots
On the Dodgers' side, we did have some moments of hope. Freddie Freeman managed to double in the 4th inning, and Shohei Ohtani had a steal after reaching on fielder's choice, showcasing his speed. Hyeseong Kim and Will Smith also contributed with singles, but unfortunately, we couldn't get the timely hits we needed to drive anyone home. Our pitchers did put up a fight, doing their best to keep the Brewers from adding any more stress to the scoreboard.Looking Ahead
Let's hold our heads high and move on to the next game. This team has too much talent to be held down for long. With stars like Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, and Shohei Ohtani, you know it won't be too long before the bats start cracking again.
