Tough Loss for the Dodgers

Well, Dodgers fans, it's been a rough night 😞. Our boys fell to the Brewers 9-2. It was a game where opportunities came knocking, but unfortunately, we just couldn’t capitalize on them. Here's a recap of the action.

Slow Start but Solid Defense

The game kicked off with some solid defense from our side. Shohei Ohtani and Will Smith couldn't get much going in the bottom of the 1st inning, but it was a quiet start on both ends. The Brewers didn't score either, and we held on through the first two innings without any issues.

Brewers Take the Lead

The 4th inning brought trouble when Christian Yelich hit a two-run homer, bringing Jackson Chourio home. We found ourselves trailing 2-0 but still within reach. Miguel Rojas did his best to rally the team with a double in the bottom of the inning, but we couldn't get him home.

More Woes in the 5th and 6th

Things went further south in the 5th when the Brewers added two more runs with a home run from Eric Haase. We went down 4-0. A bit of hope glimmered in the 6th when Chris Taylor hit a 403-foot homer to bring us to 4-2. But that was as close as we got. The Brewers continued to stretch their lead.

The Brewers Pull Away

The 7th inning was another blow as Garrett Mitchell and Blake Perkins pushed their lead to 7-2. By the 9th, it was 9-2, and although James Outman showed some fight with a single, we couldn't mount the comeback.

Looking Ahead

It's games like these that build character, Dodgers fans. Though today's performance wasn't our best, we know our team has the talent and heart to bounce back. Let's continue to support our boys and look forward to the next game. Onwards and upwards! 🌟
