A Rollercoaster Start - 1st Inning

Well, our Twins certainly didn't waste any time getting the game underway against the Brewers! Right off the bat, Byron Buxton set the tone with an electrifying homer to left center that traveled 411 feet, leveling the score at 1-1. It was a spectacular start that brought Target Field to its feet. 😄 Then, Brooks Lee capitalized with an RBI single, scoring Trevor Larnach, and we finished the inning up 2-1. It felt like the momentum was firmly with us!

Middle Innings Surge & Narrow Misses

By the 3rd inning, the Brewers clawed back to take a 5-2 lead. But Ryan Jeffers responded in the 4th with a solo homer, keeping our hopes alive at 5-3. Unfortunately, the Brewers swung back strong in the 5th, widening their lead to 9-3. But true to form, our Twins showed grit and determination. We chipped away, responding immediately with Byron Buxton again smashing a homer in the 6th, reducing their lead to 9-4. And let's not forget Ty France's clutch 2-run homer in the 8th, bringing us tantalizingly close at 9-8. 🔥

Nail-Biting Finish - 9th Inning

The 9th inning was a real edge-of-the-seat affair! After Harrison Bader doubled and Byron Buxton was intentionally walked, it felt like we were on the brink of a comeback. But the Brewers held their nerve, and despite our fighting spirit, it just wasn't quite enough this time. We fell just short, 9-8, in what was a truly thrilling, see-sawing encounter. Heartbreaking yet heartening to see such a fight from our Twins! We'll get 'em next time! 💪⚾
