Tough Day for the Brewers in the Bronx

Hey Brewers fans! 😅 Our boys played against the Yankees, but unfortunately, it wasn't our day. The Yankees took this one 12-3, but hey, we still have plenty of games to bounce back! Let's break down what happened.

Bright Start Gives Way to Yankees Fury

We kicked the game off with some action in the first inning. Brice Turang got things going with a single and later stole second base. Thanks to Sal Frelick, who singled to right, we managed to score an early run. 🏃‍♂️💨 But then Yankees' Aaron Judge made us pay with a two-run homer that gave them a lead they wouldn't relinquish.

Mid-Game Challenge

Jake Bauers gave us a glimmer of hope with a homer in the 4th inning, bringing home William Contreras and narrowing the Yankees' lead to 5-3. But the Yankees responded, and our pitching struggled to contain their offense. Jazz Chisholm Jr. was particularly tough, driving in a total of five runs with two homers.

Final Innings and Chance for a Comeback

We couldn't manage a comeback, with our bats mostly quiet in the latter innings. Despite Turang's efforts, who walked in the 8th, we couldn't muster the momentum for a late surge. The Yankees rounded off their victory scoring five more runs in the 7th, effectively sealing the game.

Keep your heads up, Brewers fans! We've got more opportunities to shine! ⚾💪 Let’s continue to cheer on our team and look forward to the next one!
