Phillies Start Strong, But the Brewers Rally
Well, it's a tough one, Phillies fans. The game started with promise as our boys secured an early lead. Trea Turner walked in the first inning and, with some swift base stealing prowess, made it to third. J.T. Realmuto ensured we were the first on the board with a single to center, allowing Turner to score.
Mid-Game Defensive Holds by the Phillies
The middle innings were a showcase of our defensive skills. The Brewers put men on base several times, but our pitchers stood strong. We saw solid plays with groundouts and pop-outs, holding the Brewers down through the fourth inning. Edmundo Sosa had his ups and downs, contributing offensively but making a costly throw in the first. The Phillies managed to leave the Brewers scratching their heads til the fifth inning, when they narrowly added a run.Late-Inning Brewers Rally
Unfortunately, the seventh inning was our undoing. A critical error by Trea Turner on a fielding play opened the floodgates. The Brewers capitalized, scoring three runs to take the lead 4-2. In the ninth, they added another run to make it 5-2. Despite some hopeful hits from Brandon Marsh coming in as a pinch hitter, the Phillies couldn't mount the comeback we all hoped for. As we end the series, there's no question—tonight's disappointment leaves us hungry for the next chance to take on the Brew Crew!

Final Score: Phillies 2, Brewers 5
