A Rough Start
Oof, what a kickoff to the game! The Brewers jumped to an early 4-0 lead in the top of the 1st inning. Jackson Chourio sparked the rally with a single and a stolen base. Our hearts sank further when Rhys Hoskins hit a three-run dinger—it was a punch to our Phillies pride. Our beloved Bryson Stott and Trea Turner couldn't get much going in the bottom half, and we ended the inning trailing by four. Still hopeful, though!
A Pitching Nightmare
The top of the 4th was an absolute roller coaster, right?

Late-Inning Rally Sparks Life
By the 6th inning, things looked dire with the Brewers leading 17-2. However, the Phillies showed some late grit with a rally in the 9th. Johan Rojas and Brandon Marsh unleashed some fireworks with a triple and a homer, adding five runs. Max Kepler sneaked in an infield single that brought in another run, making the final score 17-7. It's not the result we wanted, but we got to see some late-inning hustle!
A tough loss, but hey, we ride with our Phillies no matter what. Better luck next time, team! Let's keep cheering!
