Despite the late rally, including steals from Brice Turang pushing for scoring opportunities, the Brewers couldn’t capitalize in crucial moments.
David Bednar of the Pirates sealed the deal in the 9th, ensuring Adames, Hoskins, and Blake Perkins couldn’t turn the game around. The Pirates’ defense was simply too strong, closing out any lanes for the Brewers to make their mark.
