Tough Loss in San Francisco
Well, Brewers fans, what a rollercoaster of emotions this game was. We started strong this evening in San Francisco, but unfortunately, we couldn't hold off the Giants in the late innings.
Promising Start
We kicked things off with style thanks to Brice Turang who walked and later scored on a sacrifice play by Christian Yelich. A great start gave us a 1-0 lead. Our bats were on fire early, evident with both Rhys Hoskins and Jake Bauers managing hits. Garrett Mitchell was not only quick on his feet, stealing bases, but scored off a wild pitch that boosted our scoreboard further.Contributing at Every Corner
Our offense showed real promise with Eric Haase making waves. His determination led to two RBIs from a sacrifice play marred by a Giantsā error, giving us a healthy 5-2 lead by the fourth inning. Our fielding was solid as well with key stops and grinds down at pivotal moments.Gritty Giants' Comeback
However, the resilient Giants chipped away with a long Mariano got taken deep by Mike Yastrzemski and Matt Chapman who both served us dingers, pulling it closer to 5-4. Unfortunately, it came down to some late mishaps on our part in the eighth. A series of walks and a fielder's choice against Adames allowed the Giants to edge past us, giving them the 6-5 lead.Final Push
We had one last gasp in the ninth with Caleb Durbin entering as a pinch hitter and doing well to walk. Christian Yelich and Durbin got onboard but, regrettably, we couldnāt capitalize, with Hoskinsā fly out to center sealing our fate. The Giants' bullpen managed to close the door this time.Brewers Nation, let's keep our heads up!
