Cardinals' Early Lead
What a game!

Cardinals Extend the Lead
The bottom of the 4th saw us increasing the pressure on the Brewers. After Winn doubled to right, Nootbaar singled to center, scoring Winn and stretching our lead to 5-0. Then Willson Contreras reached on an infield single and scored Nootbaar due to a throwing error by Brewers' second baseman Brice Turang. Everything seemed to be going the Cards' way, as we ended the 4th inning firmly in control with a 5-0 lead!
Brewers Fight Back
Credit to the Brewers, they didn't go quietly. They managed to chip away at our lead, narrowing it down to 5-3 by the end of the 8th inning. In the 9th inning, they tied it up, largely thanks to Jackson Chourio's two-run homer that suddenly brought the score to 5-5.
Arenado's Heroics Save the Day!
But fear not, Cardinals fans! In the bottom of the 9th, with the game tied, up stepped the legendary Nolan Arenado. And boy, did he deliver! He launched a solo homer to left field, sending the Busch Stadium crowd into a frenzy and sealing the victory for the Cardinals with a 6-5 win!

A huge shoutout to all the players for their performances today, especially Arenado with that walk-off homer! It's always an amazing day to be a Cardinals fan. Let's keep this momentum going!
