Heartbreaker in St. Louis 💔

It was an intense roller coaster of a game as our Milwaukee Brewers faced off against the St. Louis Cardinals. Both squads fought hard, but the Brewers came up just a little short, with the Cardinals claiming a narrow 6-5 victory. Despite our best efforts to mount a comeback, the hometown team walked it off in dramatic fashion. 🎢

Early Innings and Cardinals' Lead 🎯

Our Crew had a slow start, struggling to put runs on the board early on. Christian Yelich managed a single in the top of the 1st inning, but no more runs were delivered during the initial innings. Conversely, the Cardinals took an early lead with a combination of timely batting and a couple of key doubles in the 3rd and 4th innings, jumping to a 5-0 advantage.

The Brewers Fight Back 💪

In the 5th inning, Joey Ortiz and Caleb Durbin led the charge, helping the Brewers narrow the Cardinals lead to 5-2. Our lineup kept grinding, and by the top of the 6th, William Contreras scored to bring us within two runs at 5-3. It was Jackson Chourio's bomb of a homer in the 9th that tied the game at 5-5, creating an exciting finish!

Arenado's Walk-Off Sealer ⚾🔒

Just when it seemed our Brewers might pull off an impressive comeback, the Cardinals' Nolan Arenado hit a homer in the bottom of the 9th to close out the game. 🥲 It's not the finish we hoped for, but there were plenty of standout moments tonight. On to the next game, Brewers fans! Keep your spirits high and your brew cold. 🍻
