The game took a promising turn for us in the 2nd inning with Blake Perkins hammering a solo homer to left-center field, evening the score at 1-1. Action picked up in the 3rd inning as William Contreras, Christian Yelich, and Andrew Vaughn kicked things off, setting the stage for Danny Jansen's sac fly and Andruw Monasterio’s double. By the end of the 3rd, we were sitting comfortably with a 6-2 lead. It didn’t stop there – Perkins dazzled us again in the 5th with a 398-foot blast, tacking on two more runs and extending the lead to 9-2.
