Brewers Blitz the Nationals!

What a fantastic day for Brewers fans! The game kicked off with a brilliant start, setting the momentum for a dominant 8-2 victory over the Washington Nationals. Right from the get-go, our boys came out swinging and managed to capitalize during the first inning, securing a solid lead early on. Sal Frelick initiated the action with a double to right, and with contributions from William Contreras and Christian Yelich, we found ourselves up 3-0 after just one inning. Yelich and Isaac Collins must be feeling on top of the world with clutch singles driving in much-needed runs! 
Yelich Leads the Charge! 
It was Christian Yelich again, showcasing his power in the top of the 3rd with a homer to center, extending our lead to 5-0. Even though the Nats tried to stay in it with a two-run homer by Robert Hassell III in the bottom of the 3rd, our boys stayed resilient and kept the lid tight on the Nationals’ offense. 
Our pitching showed tremendous prowess, preventing any further runs from the other team beyond the third inning. A special shoutout to Brandon Woodruff for stellar control on the mound!Sealing the Deal! 
The 8th and 9th innings witnessed some insurance runs that sealed the fate of the game. Doubles from Blake Perkins and Brice Turang, followed by a swift stolen base from Anthony Seigler in the 8th, kept the momentum going, and Isaac Collins capped it off in the 9th, driving Yelich home for that final, sweet score! An all-round splendid team effort today, with both the offense and defense playing a rock-solid game. Let’s keep riding this wave, Brew Crew!
