A Rough Day in the Desert 
Unfortunately, today was not our day as the Arizona Diamondbacks fell to the Minnesota Twins with a final score of 8-3. From the very start, it was a tough battle, but the Twins managed to seize control early and never looked back.Early Struggles
The game started with both teams trading scoreless first innings. However, things quickly went south for us in the top of the 2nd inning. Carlos Correa and Carlos Santana started things off with back-to-back singles. Byron Buxton was hit by a pitch, loading the bases. Jose Miranda then delivered a crushing blow with a bases-clearing double, putting the Twins up 3-0.More Trouble for the D-Backs
The Twins didn't stop there. In the top of the 3rd inning, a sacrifice fly by Buxton brought Correa home to make it 4-0. By the 4th inning, it was 6-0 after doubles by Trevor Larnach and Correa. A pitching change brought a bit of relief, but the damage was already done.Brief Moments of Hope 
Finally, in the bottom of the 4th, Lourdes Gurriel Jr. tripled to bring Joc Pederson home, making it 6-1. More hope came in the 6th as a wild pitch allowed Ketel Marte to score, followed by a sacrifice fly from Gurriel Jr., cutting the deficit to 8-3.Twins Put it Away
The Twins kept piling on with a 2-run homer from Willi Castro in the 5th, making it 8-1. Despite some solid pitching from our relievers like Tyler McGough and J.B. Bukauskas, our offense struggled to get anything going against the Twins' bullpen.Final Thoughts 
While the loss is disappointing, it wasn't all bad. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. showed some fight with both his bat and glove, and seeing our bullpen lock things down in the later innings was a small win. Let's regroup and come back stronger in the next game. Go D-Backs!
