A Home Run Start!

What a way to kick off the game! Our very own Byron Buxton sent spirits soaring with a bullet of a home run to left center, giving the Minnesota Twins an early 1-0 lead. ⚾💥 It's always a thrilling sight to see Buxton make magic with his bat. Sadly, the momentum did not persist through the remainder of the inning, as Ryan Jeffers, Ty France, and Jonah Bride soon found themselves retired without further addition to the scoreboard.

A Tight Battle in Boston

The second inning saw the Red Sox retaliating. A strong single from Carlos Narváez brought two runners home, pushing the Red Sox ahead with a 2-1 lead. Through a sacrifice fly in the third, the lead extended to 3-1. Yet, our Twins weren't resting. By the seventh inning, our determination was clear when Ryan Jeffers heroically singled to bring in both Harrison Bader and Christian Vázquez, evening the score 3-3. Talk about teamwork! 👍

Taking It Home

As the game wore on, the tension mounted, and it was the eighth inning that sealed the deal for the Twins. Carlos Correa stepped up, starting the rally with a single. His stride across the plate, thanks to Harrison Bader’s mighty double, pulled us ahead. Shortly after, Trevor Larnach added another run on the board with his single, making it 5-3! ⚾🙌 While the Red Sox closed in with a home run by Wilyer Abreu, our guys held firm. The ninth inning went past with no further scoring for Boston, granting the Twins a well-deserved 5-4 victory.

What an edge-of-the-seat game! Kudos to the entire roster for such a gutsy performance! Can’t wait to see what's next for our beloved Twins. Go Twins! 🎉🌟
