Tough Loss in Cincinnati

The Twins played a nail-biter against the Reds today, but sadly, we couldn't pull through in the end as the Reds grabbed the win, 6-5. 😔 It's never easy to see our team fall short, especially when we fought so hard throughout the game!

Early Lead and Solid Performances

Our spirits were high early on, thanks to a monster 406-foot solo homer by none other than Byron Buxton in the 3rd inning. 🔥 Way to go, Byron! We managed to hold the Reds scoreless through the first three innings, with a fantastic display of pitching and defense.

Battle to the Finish

In the 6th inning, we stormed back into the lead with a thrilling three-run homer from Harrison Bader, sending Brooks Lee and Trevor Larnach home. 💥 It felt like we had all the momentum, but the Reds turned the tables again with a clutch hit from TJ Friedl. We kept it close till the very end, but despite Buxton and Bader reaching base in the 9th, we couldn't bring them home.

Looking Ahead

Despite the loss, there were many positives to take from this game, including strong plays from Ryan Jeffers, solid pitching efforts, and Bader's noteworthy performance. Let's keep our chins up and come back stronger next game. Go Twins! 💪⚾
