We got off to a strong start in the top of the 3rd inning. Carlos Correa doubled to left, and after two walks, he managed to score on a passed ball by Bo Naylor. Our clutch hitter, Byron Buxton, came through with a single to center, adding two more to our tally. We led 3-0, brimming with confidence!
Guardians Fight Back
The Guardians narrowed our lead in the 5th inning. After Brayan Rocchio was hit by a pitch and Angel Martínez doubled, an infield single by Andrés Giménez brought home their first run of the game. However, we managed to hold them off, finishing the inning with a 3-1 lead.Guardians Rally in the 8th
The nail-biting moment came in the bottom of the 8th inning. Josh Naylor doubled to center, setting the stage for Kyle Manzardo's 407-foot homer to right field, giving the Guardians a 4-3 lead.
