A Heartbreaker in Extra Innings 
Well, Twins fans, this one stings. Our Minnesota Twins went toe-to-toe with the Cleveland Guardians, but ultimately fell 3-2 in a nail-biter that went into extra innings.Early Struggles and a Spark in the 5th Inning 
The game began with some struggles at the plate. Manuel Margot and Byron Buxton both made early outs, and while Carlos Correa drew a walk in the first inning, we couldn't capitalize. The Guardians drew first blood with Kyle Manzardo homering to right in the bottom of the first to give Cleveland a 1-0 lead.Our bats finally woke up in the 5th inning. Kyle Farmer doubled to right, and Margot came through with a huge double to center that, thanks to an error, allowed both Farmer and Willi Castro to score, putting us ahead 2-1. For a moment, we all felt that momentum shift!
Guardians Tie it Up 
Sadly, the Guardians responded in the 6th inning. Josh Naylor got on base with a single, and Andres Giménez followed with another single. Jhonkensy Noel then singled to load the bases, and Brayan Rocchio knocked a sacrifice fly to center to tie it at 2-2. It was a tense moment as Austin Hedges struck out to end the inning.Extra Innings Drama 
The game remained knotted at 2-2 through nine innings. We had our chances – especially in the 10th! Matt Wallner got hit by a pitch, and Castro's sacrifice moved runners into scoring position with just one out, but Correa and Buxton couldn't get the job done.Then came the bottom of the 10th. Andres Giménez singled to right, bringing Jose Ramirez home for the walk-off win. It was a tough pill to swallow as the Guardians celebrated.
Looking Forward 
Although we didn't come out on top, I have to tip my cap to our guys – it was a hard-fought game. We'll get 'em next time! Keep your heads up, Twins fans. Onward and upward!
