Tough Night for the Tigers
Well, fellow Tigers fans, it wasn't our night as we fell to the Twins 6-3. A strong start by the Twins in the first inning put us in a difficult position early on, and despite our best efforts, we simply couldn't claw our way back fully.
Early Struggles
The game got off to a rocky start when Kody Clemens and Luke Keaschall quickly pushed the Twins ahead with a double and a two-run homer, leaving us 3-0 down at the end of the top of the first. Our bats were a little cold early on, with Colt Keith and Spencer Torkelson both striking out in our first attempts to respond.Battles in the Middle Innings
We managed to get on the board in the third inning when Kerry Carpenter doubled to bring Colt Keith home. Tigers Score: 1, Twins Score: 3. However, the Twins were quick to answer back with another homer by Trevor Larnach in the fourth.
Late Push Falls Short
In the eighth, Jahmai Jones gave us a glimmer of hope with a two-run triple that scored both Matt Vierling and Spencer Torkelson. Unfortunately, our rally ended there. The Twins kept us at bay in the ninth inning, and despite some changes in our lineup, we couldn't muster another comeback.Let's keep our heads up, Tigers fans. There are always highs and lows in this beautiful game, and we'll bounce back. Looking forward to seeing our boys in action again soon!
