Not the Outcome We Hoped For
Hey, Twins fans!

Early Efforts Pay Off and a Bittersweet Middle
Kicking off the game, Byron Buxton brought some early excitement with a fantastic single to left field, followed by a nifty stolen base! With that, Buxton continued to be a valuable asset. Then he amazed us again in the 3rd inning with a sensational two-run homer to left center that brought Harrison Bader home, too! Home run distances impress at 402 feet!

Unfortunately, the Tigers found their stride in the bottom of the 4th inning, with Gleyber Torres and Kerry Carpenter contributing to Detroit's growing lead. Shoutout to Carlos Correa for his powerful homer in the 8th inning, giving us hope as he scored Buxton, cutting the lead. Correa’s homer went an impressive 431 feet!

Fighting Till the End
Despite facing some challenges, the Twins showed resilience all the way to the end. In the 9th inning, Brooks Lee doubled, showing strong determination. Matt Wallner followed with a sacrifice fly to center, allowing Lee to score and reaffirming our fighting spirit. Sadly, the Tigers proved too strong this time around.
Let’s keep up the spirit and continue supporting our beloved Twins!
