A Home Run to Remember
What a fantastic game from our beloved Minnesota Twins! Our boys secured a commanding 5-1 victory over the Kansas City Royals, and it all started with an explosive top of the first inning. Byron Buxton got things rolling early, smashing a spectacular homer to left-center that flew a jaw-dropping 402 feet. It set the tone for the rest of the game.

Sealing the Lead in the Fourth
Though the game stayed close for much of the early innings, it was in the fourth inning that Kody Clemens made sure to put us comfortably ahead. Following a double play mishap that initially disrupted our momentum, Clemens responded with a massive 451-foot home run to center, bringing Matt Wallner home for two crucial runs. What a clutch moment! Kudos as well to Royce Lewis and Luke Keaschall for creating opportunities that pressured the Royals' defense.Finishing Strong
The Twins' defense remained rock solid thanks to some stellar plays in the field. While the Royals tried to muster a comeback, scoring one run in the sixth, our relief pitching—stepping up at the right moments—kept them at bay. Special mention to our bullpen for maintaining composure in the late innings. The seventh inning saw James Outman, Austin Martin, and Wallner drive in another run through patient at-bats and strategic walks, cementing a 5-1 lead that proved insurmountable. What an absolute thrill to watch! This win is surely a bright spot in our season. Let’s keep the momentum going, Twins!
