Heartbreak in LA
Hey, Twins fans.

Pitchers' Duel and Clutch Hits
The pitching from both sides kept the game a tense affair for much of the night. The Dodgers' ace Shohei Ohtani proved his prowess not just with his arm but with his bat too, launching a 441-foot solo shot in the first inning that set an electrifying tone. But hats off to our Royce Lewis for getting us back into it with a huge homer to left in the 3rd inning, tying the game at 1-1!

Our boys on the mound did an excellent job keeping the Dodgers' bats relatively quiet through most of the evening. Chris Paddack and our relievers managed to contain the damage until the heartbreaking final inning.

Late Excitement and a Heartbreaking Ending
Things heated up in the 8th as Harrison Bader showcased his clutch abilities, giving us the lead with a sneaky infield single that scored Brooks Lee and put us ahead 3-2!

However, in an agonizing turn of events, the Dodgers loaded the bases, and Freddie Freeman delivered the decisive blow with a two-run single to end the game. We tip our caps to Freeman's performance (even though it stings).

Looking Forward
Despite the result, there's plenty to be proud of. Our team hung tough with one of the best in the league, and moments like Lewis's homer and Bader's go-ahead hit reaffirm the depth and potential of our roster.
