Tough Loss to the Brewers
Well, Twins fans, it was a tough game out there today against the Milwaukee Brewers. The final score was 5-2, with the Brewers taking the win. It wasn't the result we hoped for, but hey, there's always another game!
A Rocky Start and A Glimmer of Hope
The game started off with Trevor Larnach striking out swinging, but Ryan Jeffers managed a single to center. Unfortunately, we couldn't capitalize, with Brooks Lee and Ty France unable to bring in any runs. Not the start we wanted, but Royce Lewis brought some excitement in the fourth inning when he smashed a homer to left-center, putting us on the board!Fighting Till the End
We kept fighting with Trevor Larnach doubling to right and Brooks Lee adding to the scoreboard in the seventh, bringing Larnach home with a single to left. Kody Clemens also got a double in the eighth, showing our potential. However, the Brewers' pitching, especially in the ninth, was tough to crack as Vázquez, Larnach, and Jeffers struck out, leaving us without any late-game heroics.Let's keep our heads up, Twins fans! There were definitely bright spots in the game, and we can build on them for our next matchup. Go Twins!
