What a Game!

The Minnesota Twins pulled off an incredible comeback against the Seattle Mariners, finishing with an outstanding 12-6 victory! 🙌 If you're a Twins fan, it's hard not to be on cloud nine after witnessing such resilience and determination. This game showcased the true fighting spirit of our boys!

Early Struggles

We did start a bit rough, trailing 0-4 early on, with Seattle's hitters, Cal Raleigh and Randy Arozarena, sending a couple out of the park in the bottom of the first. But as we know, the Twins never give up!💪

Starting to Heat Up

In the fourth inning, Trevor Larnach got us on the board with a solo homer, followed by a resourceful play where Ryan Jeffers scored thanks to a timely out from Brooks Lee. At this point, the score tightened a bit to 4-2, and hope started perking up! Larnach kept the energy alive with more hits and RBIs later in the game!

The Turning Point

The real momentum shift came in the 7th inning when Willi Castro sent one flying into right center to make it 4-3. Then, in a thrilling 9th inning moment, Castro did it again with another bomb, bringing Ty France home and tying the game at six! The dedication was phenomenal as Byron Buxton and Larnach pushed the game into extra innings with their clutch plays.

Dominance in Extra Innings

As the game headed into extra innings, Carlos Correa wasted no time, hitting a dramatic two-run homer to give us the lead. But the Twins weren't done yet! Buxton and Larnach paired up for an impressive display, adding more runs to the scoreboard. Larnach's double, which cleared the bases, was the cherry on top of the victory sundae, making the score an incredible 12-6 in our favor! 🍒🍦

Closing It Out

Bobby Stewart sealed the deal, finishing off Seattle's last hopes by shutting down their lineup in the bottom of the 10th. What a way to close out the night! Seriously, our Twins showed the grit and talent we all love. What a time to be part of Twins Territory! Go Twins! ⚾💙
