Blue Jays Take Command Early
What a game!
The Blue Jays showed up ready to play and took an early lead in the bottom of the 1st inning. George Springer got things rolling with a single to left, and Nathan Lukes followed up with a double, putting him on third. After a strikeout by Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Bo Bichette sent Springer home with a single. Then, Daulton Varsho hit a sacrifice fly to center, allowing Lukes to score. The cherry on top came with Alejandro Kirk's two-run homer to right center. By the end of the inning, we were up 4-0! 
Consistent Offense Power
In the second inning, it was Andres Gimenez who continued the onslaught with a solo homer to right center, extending our lead to 5-0. Our offense remained relentless! Springer added another run in the 4th, showing us once again he’s got what it takes. Meanwhile, Lukes and Guerrero Jr. hit back-to-back RBIs in the 6th; we surged ahead 10-4 by the end of the inning.
Sealing the Deal
The Blue Jays didn’t allow the Twins to catch up. Our pitchers kept things under control, not allowing Minnesota to score in the last three innings. Special mention to Bruihl and Nance for their stellar relief efforts. This 10-4 victory is exactly the kind of performance that keeps our hopes high for this season.
