A Rough Day for the Mets in Atlanta
Well, folks, it was a tough one for our beloved New York Mets against the Atlanta Braves. Our bats just couldn't come to life, and the Braves held us scoreless for the entirety of the game with a final score of 0-5.
Early Struggles and A Braves Advantage
The action started with a promising infield single by Starling Marte in the top of the first. However, we couldn't capitalize, leaving our first run on base. When the Braves came up to bat, Ronald Acuña Jr. immediately set the tone with a 419-foot home run to center field. That kind of start put the pressure on us right away.
