Tough Day at Coors Field
Hey Rockies fans, we may have faced a mighty uphill battle today against the New York Mets. The final score was 13-5, with the Mets walking away with the victory. Slow Start for the Rockies
The game began with Jordan Beck, Ryan Ritter, and Hunter Goodman striking out in succession in the bottom of the 1st inning. Our pitching staff threw some early struggles with a solo homer from the Mets' Jeff McNeil in the 2nd, and the Mets took an 8-0 lead by the end of the 4th.Mid-Game Hope
We battled hard in the bottom of the 5th! Sam Hilliard doubled and eventually scored off Braxton Fulford's single. Jordan Beck shone with a double to bring Fulford home, bringing the score to 8-2. Later, Tyler Freeman cashed in another run after Hunter Goodman brought him in with a single, closing it to 10-3.Late-Inning Rally
The bats tried to rally in the bottom of the 9th. Tyler Freeman showcased his speed with a triple, and Beck followed up with a double, scoring Freeman. Beck got to third with Ritter’s help, who turned the score to 13-5 with a neat infield single.Let’s Keep Pushing On!
