A Tough Loss at Home for the Dodgers
What an emotional rollercoaster it was at Dodger Stadium as our Los Angeles Dodgers faced off against the New York Mets. Despite a valiant effort, we fell short in a 4-3 nail-biting loss in extra innings.
A Slow Start and Resilient Fight Back
From the get-go, it was clear this would be a tight game. Francisco Lindor set the tone with a homer in the first inning for the Mets. Our offense struggled to respond initially, with Shohei Ohtani and Teoscar Hernández unable to get on base in the opening frames. The Mets added another in the 5th, leaving us trailing 2-0.But our boys showed resilience. The 7th inning finally gave us some spark when Shohei Ohtani hit a solo homer to the right-field, cutting the Mets' lead to just one. Then in the 9th inning, after a single from Tommy Edman and a sacrifice fly from Ohtani, we tied it up at 2-2, sending Dodger Stadium into a frenzy!

Extra Innings Drama
The 10th inning was a heartbreaker. The Mets tagged two runs off our reliever, making it 4-2. But in true Dodgers spirit, we didn't give up. Freddie Freeman walked, followed by an RBI single from Andy Pages that made it 4-3. Despite the pressure, our rally fell short as Max Muncy and Will Smith, who pinch-hit for Michael Conforto, couldn't deliver.Although we lost, there's no denying the fight our team showed tonight. It's all part of the journey, and we'll come back stronger!
