What a thrilling game, Dodgers fans!

Intensity Builds as Mets Fight Back
The Mets were not ready to roll over, though. In the third inning, Juan Soto closed the gap with a two-run homer, and they tied it up in the fifth with some key at-bats and small ball. Pete Alonso drove Francisco Lindor home with a double, and then Brandon Nimmo scored Starling Marte with a single to give the Mets a 5-4 lead. Fast forward to the bottom of the ninth. The tension was palpable. But Dodgers never say die. Max Muncy stepped up once again to knock another homer out of the park, tying the game at 5-5 and pushing us into exciting extra innings.
