Pitching Dominance and Acuña's Speed Lead the Mets
What a thrilling game for us Mets fans!

Acuña's Impact and Alonso's Key Plays
The third inning saw the scoreless tie broken by the hustle of our new favorite infielder, Luisangel Acuña, who walked and then showcased his speed by stealing second.
Soto's Blast and Defensive Prowess
After the Twins managed to tie it up in the 5th inning, our guys turned up the heat. The 6th inning started with Alonso's single, followed by Mark Vientos delivering a powerful double that scored Alonso. Things got a bit wild when a throwing error allowed Vientos to score, extending our lead to 3-1. Then came the 7th inning, where Juan Soto launched a majestic two-run homer, solidifying our lead at 5-1.
The Twins never really recovered as our bullpen kept them at bay with solid pitching and defensive plays, including the outstanding effort from Josh Brazobán, Braxton Garrett and Ryan Stanek, who combined forces to maintain the lead with some shutdown innings. Seriously, our pitching staff was on fire tonight!

Shout Out to the Mets!
Big cheers to the entire crew for pulling together in such a formidable display of baseball. It's nights like these that make us proud to be Mets fans. Onward and upward! LGM!
